My Super Heroes!

A friend of mine in California made this cute super-man outfit for Nash.  He didn't really get it at first but there is something about a cape that gets the best of you sometimes and you can't help acting and feeling like a super hero!  

I guess he takes after his dad...HA!

As many of you know I have facilitated as well as participated in a couple weight loss challenges over the past couple of months.  I made Darin do one of them with me and he did awesome!  I took a picture of me in (gulp) spandex and he felt left out and wanted a picture of himself.  Although he took it to a mocking extreme and asked me for a shirt that would show his harry chest (gross!) and then added a batman cape!  See what I mean you give a boy a cape and check out the confidence in his face...I have WAY to many superheroes living in this house! ;)

Wrestling with Grandpa!

It didn't take long for Nash to warm up to Grandpa Willardson this trip.  He is always happy to have a wrestling buddy!  When Grandpa Willardson would leave Nash would say "Bampa, where'd-e-go?" and then start yelling "BAMPA!"

I am so sad I didn't get any pictures of Nash with Grandma Willardson this trip.  He had so much fun playing with all of her magnets.  When she visits a different place she always buys a magnet, they were a hit with Nash this trip!

Willardson Cousins

The last few days in Utah were spent in Orem with the Willardson family.  Saturday was spent visiting all the cousins.  Our first stop was Travis and Sasha's family.  Travis, Alex and Nathan were busy with Orem Days so we didn't get to see them.  Nash had so much fun playing with his cousins and their pets!

Each one of them wanted a picture with Nash.  They made him feel so special.

From the first day Nash met Taeya she has been his favorite.  She is such a sweet little girl!

I can't believe how tall Saebra and Natasha were.

By the time it was Eli's turn, Nash was pretty much done being held.

Eli was so funny.  His mom told him he could have some popcorn.  She didn't know he would pop so many bags and then try to escape down to the basement to eat it himself.  His sisters and Nash caught a whiff of the yummy popcorn and soon followed him to the basement and devoured it!

Our next stop was David and Heather's family.  We didn't get to stay long here because of the feud that began between Nash and cute little Abrahm.

I wish we would have had more time with the Willardson cousins, we always have a great time visiting and playing.  We always look forward to our next trip to see everyone.

A trip home to Blanding would not be complete without going to dinner at Bluff's, Twin Rocks for a Navajo Taco. 

My mouth is watering just thinking about how yummy it was!

This was Nash's dinner.

I didn't know he liked oranges so much!  He has been such a picky eater lately I am happy to get anything into him.

He even ate the lemons...

And liked it!

Uncle Cody and Granny joined us for the dinner.  It was a nice way to end our stay in Blanding.  Thanks mom and dad for having us!

Complete Freedom...

When I said Nash had a ton of freedom I was serious! He loved to go run through the sprinklers and his diaper would get soaked so we stripped him down into his nothings and let him run around FREE! :)

After awhile he was cold so we put back on his shirt.

These pictures make me smile. I am so happy we were able to come to Utah and let Nash be a FREE little boy for awhile. With all the moving and craziness in PA he didn't get a lot of play time. Thanks mom and dad for letting us come stay at your house. They were so great and watched Nash whenever I wanted to go out running or take a rest. This was a much needed trip for all of us. THANK YOU!

Tomorrow we head up north to Orem to see the Willardson family! More cousins to play with and memories to make then we are headed back on the airplane to Pennsylvania to be with Darin!

Blanding Swimming Pool

Koen and Sadie are little water dogs. They invited Nash to come swimming with them at the city pool. We joined them just about everyday. Nash did so good. He even went half off the slide and got all the way into the pool. I am excited for this summer and fun we will have at the swimming pool!

Nash would let me know when he was done swimming by saying "All D wawa" (All done water.) and then he would wave or start dragging me out of the water. The kids would yell "Bye Nash" as we were leaving and our little celebrity would wave to the whole pool yelling "I-I NASH I-I!" He would continue into the parking lot. He is such a funny little boy.

Grandad's kids...

My dad loves to have pictures of the grandkids on his phone. He had a really old picture of the 3 when Nash was a small baby so he made a request to get a picture of them together. Easier said then done. We just finished the bike ride and couldn't get the dang binky out of Nash's mouth!
(Oh I can't wait to get rid of it for good when we get back to PA!!)

Koen decided this year that he is too big and cool for pictures.
Nash has always loved my dad. When he was small we asked him "What does Grandad say?" and he would say "MOOOO!"

We didn't get to see a lot of my dad during this trip because he had to work a lot out of town. I happy we listened to him on Sunday and tried to get that group picture. We love you dad, thanks for all your hard work. You are a great example to us all!

Dirty little boy...

Nash was able to play with Sadie and Koen everyday that we were in Blanding. They had so much fun together. They played with chalk, water, sand and whatever else they could find that would make them extra dirty. I usually can get away with bathing Nash every other day sometimes every 2 days. Here in Blanding he would play so hard outside and get so dirty we had to bathe him each night.

He really does not like to have his hands dirty!
Sadie let us know Nash's every move. She was a good babysitter.

Bikes...

My moms new favorite past time is biking. She got her a new cruiser bike (I didn't take a picture of it) so she put a child seat on her old bike so I could take Nash for rides. We weren't sure if he would like it so we let him have his binky...bad idea, I think he would have been fine without it.

Koen and Sadie were so excited to ride bikes with Granny and Nash.

They went up and down the street very slowly since Sadie's little tires couldn't keep up very well.

I decided to take a try myself. I think I need to get a bike now with a seat and basket so I can run errands on a bike. :)

We couldn't get Ash to ride with us, she just made sure the crazy cars didn't run us over..

I love Sunday afternoons with family. The weather was beautiful with NO wind just a ton of gnats!!
