Baltimore Harbor in the daylight...

After our adventure at the aquarium we decided to walk the harbor.
It didn't take long for Nash to spot these....
So we suited up for our voyage on the water dragons!

Nash was a pretty happy little boy!
It was such a HOT day. We found a splash pad and guess who decided to strip down to his unders....
Ha you were expecting Darin weren't you...hehe!

We actually had to stop him from going to the bathroom in the middle of everyone. He pulled down his underwear showing bare bum and all...I don't think Darin and I have moved so fast to stop him...haha!

It was a long HOT, tiring day and Nash was asleep (smiling) before we made it out of the parking structure.

Baltimore National Aquarium

Darin had some more time off so we decided on another trip to Baltimore/DC area. Darin has always wanted to go to the National Aquarium in Baltimore since we moved out here. He finally got his chance to go.
If you notice most pictures of Nash he has his mouth open. He is constantly roaring like a dragon/dinosaur. Does anyone know when this phase passes...he is starting to scare small children...haha!

He wasn't too sure about the beaver skeleton.
Nash was so hungry when we went into see the 4D movie that I had to sneak chips to him so he would stop whining!

The rain forest exhibit.
They usually have dolphin shows but this day they didn't....BOO!
The Jelly fish were pretty cool. My favorite part was probably the sharks, we didn't get any good pictures of them sadly.

The kid area was fun. Even Darin liked dressing up as a shark! Haha!

Sandbox...

Sunday's are always the day that we miss our families back west the most. It always helps to be surrounded by friends, so we invited some of our friend-family to spend an evening at the sandbox. The best part about sand is ALL ages LOVE playing with it.

Madden lost his legs in the sand. :)
Nash lost his whole body!
I can't believe he let them do that...hard to believe this child a year ago would NOT touch sand because he did not like the texture.

Darin smothered him with kisses since he couldn't get away.

SO FUN!

Meet Neighbor Dog Cody...

This little friend lives 2 doors down. His name is Cody which causes a bit of confusion to Nash as my brother's name is Cody as well as Codi my good friend.

Nash was a little timid with Cody in the beginning but now they are good friends.

Donna our neighbor is such a nice lady. She has been so kind and helpful to us since day one.
Cody is a herding dog and LOVES to play soccer as well as herd Nash around. Nash would hide in the trees and Cody was try to round him out.

I am glad Nash is able to be around dogs here and there so he isn't afraid. Especially since we have a dog in Utah, however I think Lindy is now my dads dog and will NEVER want to come back to us. :)

Family Play...

As I said in an earlier post my favorite lens was in the shop for a week or two. Darin was sweet enough to ALLOW me to buy a new lens....YES I AM IN HEAVEN!!! I have had a lot of fun playing with the new lens...

Yes Nash rarely has pants on these days...don't judge, I bet you ran around like that too when you were newly potty trained! :)
He is such a happy little boy!

I found this bubble sword in the dollar section at Target. I don't know who had more fun Nash slaying his dragons or Darin blowing bubbles for Nash.
Hi-YA! (...the bubbles were dragons....of course!)

All of us were pretty happy with our new toys...and I love summer nights when we can play together as a family OUTSIDE!
