Asa is still a charming little boy and demands attention. He is the loudest child in our family. He loves to mimic anything that Nash is doing and has the cutest imagination.

Asa is the busiest kid. He is in the middle of everything, and wants everyone to love him. He loves shoes, blueberries, fishies, balls, cars, Curious George and Scooby Doo. He doesn't like to have his shirt or pants off. He loves to play with fire ants but does not like the outcome. He is a fighter but gives the best snuggles. His beautiful blue eyes will win you over in 5 seconds!

Asa started OT at the hospital to help with his stimulation seeking behaviors. We have had to dress him daily in a onsie because he tends to put his hands down his pants and paint with his poo. Yes it is disgusting...he is getting better. He is learning knew words and bats his eyes at you whenever he really wants something. If he doesn't get it he proceeds to the screaming strategy. He has started counting and says "woneee", "doo", "tee". But not in that order. Occasionally we hear a six.

I don't know if Asa loves anything more then his two blankies.... or "gainkies" as he calls them.

Asa didn't really have a choice on what he got to be for Halloween, however he was happy to follow whatever his big brother did. He is beginning to say more words and can often be heard saying "QUIET! Baby seeping" as he runs away screaming and laughing. He is a bundle of terrible two's joy!

Asa has become a little mama's boy. He is not a fan of daddy and will wander the house yelling "Where's mommy!" He has a fetish with doors lately where he likes to close himself in closets or close others in rooms. Then he is very upset when he can't get out or in. Asa is a typical 2 year old with epic tantrums and there is no reasoning with him at all. He wants to be doing everything Nash is doing and the opposite of what we want him to do.

Our little wild man! Asa can make the biggest messes possible but be the first to jump in and clean it all up without coaxing. He is talking more and says the "d" sound for anything that starts with a P or B. Ball is Doll, and Poop is Doop. He says the "n" sound for M. Moon is Noon and Mommy is Nonny. December was a long month at church with Asa as Darin was not home a lot for our meetings. Asa thought it was his job to collect all hymn books in the overflow area and bring them to our row. If anyone stopped him, he would scream his heart out. I had a baby in one arm and dragging Asa with my other kicking and screaming with Nash saying "Mommy where are you going?!" As we tried to run out of sacrament meeting. Asa keeps us all on our toes!

Asa often throws massive two year old tantrum at Nash's school during drop off. The director and several teachers witnessed my struggle daily and convinced me it would be a great idea to have Asa come to school once a week. Asa was over the moon about this idea. After his first day of school I asked him if he liked school his answer was a loud excited "FWENDS!" The little boy had his very own friends at school and that made him so happy.

Asa always has a big bump on his top right temple. He seems to fall on that area daily, sometimes multiple times. He is so busy trying to keep up with his brother. His favorite activity besides going to school is going to Occupational Therapy where he gets to play with his friend Cullen and therapist Susan. He is talking so much now, and his behavior is getting better little by little. He takes good care of Cora and often tells me "I eed to dede" and I find him with a book next to Cora reading her a book...the book is usually upside down.
