Nash is now 10 weeks old! I thought Darin would like to see all the fun pictures we took on Saturday. So does anyone else think I have way too much time on my hands right now in Blanding! I think I do a blog every day! Life really does change when you have a baby!
By the way many
of my friends in California suggested some baby books to read, but I can't remember any of them...could you guys please send me a comment or an email reminding me what they were! I have plenty of time to read them now!

Motherhood is one of the most rewarding jobs but also the hardest! I am so glad I am a mother but I wish there was an instruction manual or an easy button to help me along the way. I believe being a Special Ed teacher was a much easier job! I think my insecurities get the best of me and I doubt my abilities too much! I can't wait until Darin gets home to help with the baby decision making...being a single mom is hard work...I admire and respect all you single moms out there. (Bree you're amazing!)
However I am grateful for Darin, even though he is so many miles away he is always there to listen to me, and tries to fix whatever I am complaining about.

The cashier asked her how old her baby was. The woman replied "less then 24 hours." In amazement my mom asked her what she was doing at the store and if she was tired. The woman replied"YES! But somebody has to do the grocery shopping!" WOW! I am so grateful for supportive family members. I bet that woman was soooo tired! I have never been too excited about the Visiting Teaching or the Relief Society program (I get that from my mother!) but I really can appreciate those programs after having a baby and being far from our families. There were so many people in California who were willing to help! I felt and feel so blessed to be apart of a wonderful church. Thanks to all!

What a handsome little man you have there Christina!! He is so cute!! Those are some great pictures. Don't worry, you will be a great mom!
Oh my goodness.. you are doing an awesome job as a new mommy, and I only saw u in action for a couple hours! Plus the simple fact that u are nursing is so amazing, because that is THE toughest part of the beginning. Seems like your feeding all day and nite huh?! You are doing awesome, & u will continue to be awesome. There will be no ruining, but I DEFINETLY know what u mean by that. I feel like I do it alot.. sigh. I don't think it ever gets easier! But they are always worth it, right?? Luv ya- keep up the good work! (plus u are doing it alone right now, and that's tough! That's more than most can handle!)
Christina - I am thoroughly impressed with all that you are doing. You're like supermom. Amazing pictures...good looking kid, with the classiest name! Had to laugh with all of the little "drama queens" running around the house. I think that would be too much fun. I can only imagine what it would be like to drop food in that house. So I have no doubt that you are a wonderful mother everyday. Remember if you can run at 6:00am in the morning for weeks on end, and if you can support Darin through med school - you can do anything. It's so nice that we are able to catch up with each other this way in the middle of our busy schedules. I spoke with Darin today. He and I will most likely be able to meet up while I'm out there in Philly. Keep in touch. We'll celebrate good times once we're all in the same place.
Hey Christina!
It was so fun to see you today! You are SUCH a great mother! And the experience being a special ed teacher probably gave you more patience than most of us! I'm so glad that you are in town for a while. I love being with friends! I was thinking, tomorrow we should get together and work on our class blog. =0) You're such a great friend, and a great MOM!
he is sooo cute! just wait till he starts moving more and then you wont have so much time on your hands. Ady is now moving and trying to crawl. she wont stay still. i am trying to hold her now and she keeps climbing off my lap. let me know when you get back. even with darrin back i am sure you will still feel like a single mom a lot of the time. i do. we will have to do stuff together.
He changes everytime i see a new picture posted! Gets cuter and cuter and cuter. Definately going to be a chick magnet!
You know Chris, if these babies came with a manual, then none of us would have kept them! They come packed with so much joy, but can cause so much heartache in the teenage years! None the less, you love them all the same!
Hang in there, and enjoy the dogs and the fam!
OH MY GOSH! I can't believe how adorable he is! Look at his little smile! NASHY- he's so cute! Has it really been ten weeks? That's crazy! You are a good mom, silly girl! I am far from amazing (I think that I'm ruining Addi everyday lol) Call me sometime! We need to catch up!
