Our Big Boy!

Since Nash had a boycott on the pack-n-play in Florida, he spent a whole week not sleeping in any sort of a crib.  When we got home he didn't want anything to do with his crib.  It was like he grew into a BIG BOY during our trip to Florida.  I think buying a toddler bed is a bit of a waste and we do not have a twin mattress for the frame we have so we decided to take his crib mattress and put it on the floor for now.  He really doesn't have any toys in his room just a few stuffed animals and some books.  I worried he would get up in the night and play or read his books all night.  He has done so well.  When he wakes up in the morning he reads for a bit and then comes and knocks on the door to let me know he is awake.  We do have to lay by him until he falls asleep, but I have left him before he was completely asleep and he hasn't gotten up.  It seems when Nash is ready to do something he takes charge and lets us know he is ready for the next step.  Let's just hope he does this good with potty training!!! :)

Christina is the pillow by the mattress to protect him from the great fall if he rolls off the mattress? I worried about getting Kenzie out of her crib and into a bed but she adapted really well. Once these little ones decide on something they go for it!

Oh if only my little one would sleep in her own bed. I dont even know why we own a crib, I can count on one hand how many times she has spent the whole night in it! I wait for the day she can be in her own room and in her own bed! That would be the life!!!

Good job Nash, you are such a big boy! Im so proud of you!!!
