Camping at Wellsboro

After being spoiled for 2 weeks by Grandparents, we joined 5 other families from our Club Mom meet-up group for some camping. Hill Creek Park is located near Wellsboro, PA which is about 3 hours north of us. We all stayed in cabins that were super nice with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen (fully equipped), and large living room with a view of a lake with a forrest surrounding it! Okay so it wasn't so much camping as a weekend get away! We enjoyed it so much! Saturday we spent the day hiking the "Pennsylvania Grand Canyon" which had waterfalls and great views. It was fun to watch all the dads hike with the children on their backs. Aaron, Christine, Emory and our family were the only ones that made it to the bottom and back up. Everyone else took the day and went shopping in the little town of Wellsboro. We miss nature and so that is where we wanted to spend the day.

Independence Square...

I think Independence Square in Philadelphia has turned into our new Disneyland. We go there often when people come to visit. The great thing about living in this area is we are so close to the American history sites. I love it! We spent the day walking around and then ended it with a Philly Cheese steak from Pat's. We had so much fun having Grandma and Grandpa Willardson at our house and look forward to seeing them again!

Walks with Grandma Willardson...

Grandma Willardson has always enjoyed taking Nash for walks and he loves them just as much! I think more so now that he can walk holding her hand...there is just so much to discover! Nash is so lucky to have grandparents that love interacting with him.

Nash had a fun outing with Gpa, Gma Willardson and Darin to the Philadelphia Aquarium. They had a great time, and Nash enjoyed looking into all the big tanks of fish. What a fun adventure to share with Grandma and Grandpa!

Walking at 17 months...

While my parents were here Nash hit a BIG mile stone and learned to walk on his 17 month birthday! Thanks to Sandy our Occupational Therapist. Nash was not a fan of Sandy's in the beginning because she exercise him like crazy everytime she came. Afte she helped him walk, she now gets kisses and big hugs from Nash. It is so cute. Life is so much easier with Nash walking! We need to post a picture of his awesome little crawl that kept him from walking. He looked just like igor!

Thanks for the visit...

It is a big sacrifice for my parents to come visit and leave my dad's business for so long. Thank you for coming. We all enjoyed your visit and look forward until the next time you guys come!

Lancaster County for Granny

My mom is the queen of quilting so it was a must that we go down to Lancaster County and visit the Amish Quilting country. It was sprinkling on us a bit but overall a beautiful day, with a lot of cute little shops. My mom even met and was coached by a sweet Amish woman about quilting. We visited the towns of Bird-in-Hand, and of course Intercourse, Pennsylvania.
Look how embarrassed they look to be getting this picture. haha. They were trying to be so conspicuous around the rest of the tourists.
Darin on the other hand, begged us to stop in the rain to get this picture.
There was a huge dog named Cody, but he decided to hide for the picture.
Nash was a good little boy for most of the time. He found this toy in one of the shops, and Darin couldn't get it away from him (so he claims) so he bought it for him. :)

But who can resist this sweet face! Besides when he is acting like this....



We had a great time in Lancaster County! Word to the wise, do not go to the Shady Maple Smorgasbord on a Saturday. CRAZINESS!
