Grandad's trucks...

The boys waited patiently for Grandad to get home from hauling cows.
Grandad was pretty happy to see them too.
They got to have a ride up to the shop in the big truck.
Asa is a big fan of Grandad and wanted him to hold him most the time.

Of course the kitties are the fun part about going to the shop.  They have a bunch of wild kitties that are fun to catch a glimpse of here and there.

Mowing the Lawn...

Nash is a big help in the yard as Granny found out...

Thanks Granny for letting Nash "help" he loved being with you.

Koen's Baseball

A highlight of our trip was going to Koen's baseball games.  Nash played baseball at my aunt JoAnna's house and was hit with the baseball.  He was a little afraid of playing after that.  So when I told him he didn't have to play, just want Koen he was one happy kid!
Koen was a hoot to watch.  He wasn't really interested in playing.  He was out in left field and really just in a daze.  A ball was coming his way and he was not paying attention at all.  The field was dead silent and then we all heard "KOEN!"a scream from his mom.  He jumped so fast back into reality and almost got decked in the head by the ball.  We all died laughing.  Good thing he has his mom to keep him on track!

Nash and Sadie made friends with the other kids.  They had a ton of fun playing hide and go seek.  I had a terrible time trying to find him when I needed to!

I enjoyed the games because I got to see people I haven't seen in a long time.

A-B-C's

Sadie loves to draw and color.  Nash not so much.  This summer I was determined to spend time with him to get him interested in his ABC's and drawing pictures that you could actually tell what it was.  He usually just scribbles something quick and tells me it is a monster.
Sadie had fun playing the games I came up with, and Nash tolerated them.
Asa found things to entertain himself like a balloon and Lindy the dog.

I wish my kids lived closer to their cousins.  It seems by the time that ever happens they will all be grown up. :(

Gone Fishin'

We spent a week in Blanding at the first of June.  We always have fun with Kedrick and Ashley's family.  Nash loves his cousins and they take good care of him.  Nash was on a fishing kick and Koen LOVES fishing.  The Saturday we were there just happened to be the free fishing day.  YAY!

Sadie is a pro and makes sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to.

Ashley amazes me.  I am so not a slimy fish, frogs, lizard person.  But she is a great mom that does all that for the kids.
Asa was a little mad when we put his jammies on and wouldn't let him get down and crawl around anymore.

He was only consoled by Uncle Kedrick.

 So many helpers. :)

 Smile Ked!
I tried really hard to cast and catch something.  But I only caught a stick!

Asa thought he was a big fisherman too!

 Ya crack KILLS! lol

We had a great time fishing.  We caught one but released it. Nash was pretty happy although, he REALLY wanted to take a fish home as a pet!
