Got time on your hands????

HAHAHA! I always wonder what Darin and Nash do when I am not around. I guess I figured it out!

Waterfall

Our last stop before heading home on Saturday was a rocky hike down to a waterfall.

Thanks to everyone who made this camping trip SO MUCH FUN!!! We were able to get home just in time to make ourselves safe for Hurricane Irene. We got a lot of rain and wind from the Hurricane. Our bishopric would NOT cancel church the next day even though we were highly advised to stay home by the weather people. There were tree's falling and quite a bit of dangerous situations. We and MANY others in the ward decided to stay home. I am happy we did. I really would not like to be stranded somewhere with Nash in that terrible weather!

River Jumps...

Okay I am not a fan of collages but there isn't another way to show these fun pictures. There were a lot of jumpers but not all the pictures showed up so here are just a few.
Darin
Nash thought it was funny watching his daddy jump off the rocks.
Then Scott decided Codi needed to get in the water so he helped her out. :)
...and she is still smiling!
Olive on the other hand did NOT like watching her mother treated in such a way! That just got Codi warmed up and she joined the jumpers.Which encouraged her daughter Iris to jump from a lower level. She got hurt in the process. :(And finally Elli!

The water looked like fun. Sadly I "forgot" my swimming suit and took the role of photographer. :)

River Picture overload....

Like I said in the other post my friend showed me some really cool things with my camera and I got a bit obsessed with it and took a BILLION pictures. Okay I would have taken a billion pictures if I didn't learn something new. Here are so many of my favorites from our outing at the river...
Nash couldn't stop throwing rocks.
Darin enjoyed soaking in the water.
Codi got mother of the year for blowing up tubes for her kids to float on.

So much fun!
ARRGH!!!!
Adam finally joined us!

beep beep!
Throwing stones landed him in TIME OUT...

Growing up is hard...so many changes.

The boys and Codi felt the need to jump off rocks into the deep parts...That will be another post.

Bill talked Betsy into jumping.
Nash had a hard day. He went from this....
To this, within seconds. Then he insisted on joining Darin on the rocks across the river. Although he didn't want to get wet to go over there....Thank goodness for daddies who are willing to handle tired children!

World's End Look Out...

Darin felt it necessary to pose like the man he saw on the brochure.

While at the look-out my friend Codi was teaching me some metering techniques on my camera. I took a lot of random pictures after that trying to get it right.

This poor man stood in this position for at least 15 minutes so his wife could get the perfect picture. I think there was too much back light so he was dark in most of them, and it was frustrating her. He was not a happy camper waiting for her.
Nash had so much fun!
