Happy Birthday Daddy!

Darin turned 35 on February 19th.  The boys and I had a fun time putting together a Birthday party for him.
These 3 pictures kill me.  Asa is such a crack up and once Nash gets a glimpse of the silly Asa he has to join in...

Since I met Darin he has wanted a FLOWBEE.  It is a hair cutting device that connects to the vacuum.
Dream come true.  My worst nightmare because now I have to use it on his hair and it takes FOREVER!
We had to carry on the Willardson tradition of a DQ ice cream cake.  Nash picked it out.

Bikes...

I really wanted Nash to learn how to ride his bike.  HE HATES IT!  We practiced over and over but he just does not like it.  He is so afraid of falling and does not like to put pressure on the pedals when the going gets tough.

Asa on the other hand LOVES bikes!

Darin showing Nash how easy it is to ride... lol

he likes running better and decided it was his job to push Asa...

Asa can not understand why Nash would not want to ride such a cool bike!
Nash thinks the same of Asa's tricycle!
I will get this boy to ride his bike!!

Valentines Cards...

I love it when I catch my kids playing nicely together!
We did the kissy valentines day cards again this year. Really I just wanted a photoshoot with this cutie...

Asa kept photo-bombing!

Teaching a kid to make a kissy face is harder then you think!

Snow in the South...

Not too long after we returned from Utah, South Carolina received some snow.  It started snowing in the night and you could hear the kids frolicking in it outside.  It was about 10pm when we got a knock on the door begging for Nash to come out and play....umm no he is asleep!

So the next day we broke out the gloves and hats for the neighborhood since no one had anything to play in the snow with.  We also had to teach them how to make a snowball, and snowman!

Boogie Boards were used as sleighs!

 Our neighborhood is SUPER fun!

Carl Bloch Exhibit...

Our last day in Utah we had the awesome opportunity to see the Carl Bloch Art Exhibit at BYU.

We had to take turns with Asa as he was pretty crazy and didn't want to be reverent while looking at the beautiful paintings.

Nash however was so fun to walk around with.  Louie the Elf brought him a lot of the pictures that were on exhibit and he was able to tell us the stories...who says the Elf on the Shelf isn't worth the work!

Midway Ice Castle...

We made our way to Midway to see the famous ice castle there.  Asa decided to get sick just as we pulled into the parking lot.  Good thing I had some snow pants and a coat for him because he had nothing else on under them! Brrr!

I had every intention of editing these pictures to make them look really great.  However I am so behind on this blog...those intentions are thrown out the window!
This picture is such a classic Nash and Asa picture.  Nash is pulling Asa way from "danger" and Asa is screaming...

We were there at the beginning of the season. I am sure it was huge in weeks to follow.

The boys had a ton of fun exploring the little caverns.  Very fun experience!
