We were joined by a couple other families from our apartment complex who took the train with their little preschool class. The train was an adventure for all of them. If you stay up on your SoCal news you might have heard about the "Laguna Niguel Mooning." I guess every year groups of people line the train tracks and moon the train as it passes. Last Saturday happened to be that special day...needless to say the poor preschoolers and families got an eye full of thousands of bare bums...they have some great pictures! I was almost sad we missed it...we needed to go early in the car so we could return earlier for a baptism.
I have decided photography must be a Hurst family passion...it must come from Grandpa Bruce. My cousin Brooke has evolved into an amazing photographer and I love looking at her blog! I have two other cousins Kara and Tycie and two Aunts JoAnna and Toni who as well take beautiful pictures. It is fun learning different techniques from each other. Thanks Grandpa Bruce for putting the photography passion into our genes!
The beach is an awesome place to take pictures...ReAnn and Jeff are great to let me play with my camera and take pictures of their cute family. We never did get that perfect family picture...but we got some amazing candids that I love more than the poser pictures! Here are a few of my favorites...
This picture is great, too bad it was SO BRIGHT!
This family is so photogenic it didn't matter how badly I screwed up the angle or the lighting they still looked great!Candids are great because they capture those moments that go unnoticed.

It was fun watching ReAnn play with her kids...she is a great mom!
Doesn't that water look fun! I didn't get in much but I did fall in taking a picture. Poor Nash was strapped to me and I made more of an effort to save my camera then him...What a fun day at the beach!

What cute pictures! It makes me want to go to the ocean!
Those pictures are VERY good Chris! I love them! you sure do have the genes!
Good job taking those pics! They look professional for sure. So is the girl in the pictures your cousin? She looks so familiar to me. I think she might have been in my ward in Cedar City. Did she go to SUU?
Cute pics! Looks like you had fun at the beach. I'm jealous, today, we ran through the sprinklers (he he)
Christina...those are so GREAT! I absolutely love the candids and the family picture of them laying in the sand. SO CUTE! Next time you're up to going to the beach again, let me know and we will tag along and have you get some family shots!
Cute pictures! You did a really good job. So I'm a Hurst, but I really don't think I got the photography bug, but I know my dad did. I take rather crappy pictures, but yours look great! I think that looked like a really fun outing playing on the beach.
