Conference & Park Fun!
After Nash woke up from his nap between sessions the kids needed to burn off some energy before the next session. So we took a walk down to the community park below our house.

Egg Decorating
Easter Egg Hunt
Since Conference fell on Easter this year. We decided to have friends over to watch Conference and then have dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Nash was excited the whole day! He loves having friends over, especially big kids that he can follow around.

Aaron, Christine and Emory came over after Conference for dinner and the hunt. Christine is days away from giving birth to their baby girl! Exciting times!!!

The Ockerman's joined us in the morning and afternoon sessions. We always love it when the Ockerman kids come over. They are so fun to play with! Oh and we enjoy Brook and Riley as well. ;)
The Dowling's joined us as well. Nick is a kid at heart, between he and Darin there was a lot of wrestling and craziness going on!
Kristen is one of Nash's awesome Nursery teachers. We are so glad they are in our ward. They bring a lot of fun into our lives. Plus it is great having another LDS resident in Darin's residency.
The BIG hunt!
Uh-Oh!!! Darin was caught with his hand in the cookie jar!!!

Capturing Nash's little energy is rough right now. This picture is perfect, he is happy and his little body is moving like crazy!
Nash is so into his belly. He loves lifting his shirt and showing his belly to everyone!
This picture is my favorite. It shows the festivity perfectly. Everyone is going in all different directions and they all look happy. I don't think I can say it enough, that we are so happy and thankful for good friends. You all have become our family.

Egg Hunt Preparation...
Egg Hunt on Holtzhafer Farm!
Our friends Brian and Jenae have a fun little farm with goats, chickens and bunnies. Nash loves going to their house and will spend the whole time saying "cock-a-doodle-doo" at the chickens. Even when we are in their house he goes to the window pointing at the chickens. The Holtzhafers held a fun Easter Egg hunt for both our meet-up groups.

These two ladies, Marjorie (above) and Jenae (below) did such a great job putting the hunt together!
Nash still has a phobia of large groups and didn't want me to put him down for very long. Although, when I showed him what the Egg hunt was all about he was so excited, and I think he picked up the most eggs out of the 2 and under age group.
It was fun seeing some of Nash's little buddies there. This is Will, he is only a week younger then Nash and they play so good together.
The Ockerman's came too!
Doesn't he look like such a big boy in his levi's!
Darin wasn't able to join us for this Egg Hunt so we did another one. Those pictures are soon to follow.

Family Recipe Exchange
After the big race we had a fun dinner to look forward to with our Family Meetup group. Everyone brought a recipe to share in hopes to help everyone find foods that our kids will eat. Sadly, our child still will not eat anything!
The proud runners! :)
This is one of my favorite pictures of Darin and Nash.
Nash and his buddies. :)

I am in charge of collecting everyone in the groups information and putting it on our website. Our group has grown to over 40 families and I am so behind in my job! So now I am the woman with the clip-board.
We brought yummy veggie pizza to share....mmmm....I think I need to make more, I love that stuff!
This was a recipe my mom gave me a few weeks ago. I think I made it wrong (besides burning the bottom) because it was just too sweet for me. But they looked pretty anyway!
There was a ton of yummy food and all Nash wanted to eat was POPCORN! He definitely is my son. I could eat popcorn all-day myself.
I was glad our child was not the only one devouring the popcorn.
The party was held at our friend Kami's house. She was creative and had music playing in the background and we had to guess the name of the song as well as the artist to win a prize. We gave up after while...I know songs but I don't know names or artists.
Darin is now known in the group as the CRAZY adult. The kids LOVE him and he is good to wrestle and play with them. Although, this time around things got a little out of control and ALL the older kids were beating on him and the other dads were egging it on. One even jumped in and Darin and he had a wrestling match. Very entertaining but in the end some toys were broken and a few apologies had to be made. BUT the kids and Darin had a ton of fun playing!
We are so happy that spring is here and we can have gatherings like this and enjoy the outdoors. We feel pretty blessed to have such great people around us!
