"Dig Doy" Haircut...

I am the haircut specialist in our house and to be honest I am TERRIBLE at it. Thankfully, Darin has curly hair and it is VERY forgiving. Nash on the other hand used to have curls until I chopped them off and they never came back. So while we were in UT I had Ashley help me out and give Nash an actual BIG BOY HAIRCUT...or as he says "Dig Doy" Haircut.
He isn't the easiest to work with, so I started out by feeding him Cheetos by the handfuls. Then we discovered the spray bottle. He thought it was hilarious spraying everyone and Ashley was able to get the job done.

Grandad's Shop...

One of Nash's favorite places in Blanding is Grandad's shop. Maybe it is because of the dirt and grease that is EVERYWHERE. Or maybe it is the millions of kitties that my dad feeds and cares for at the shop.

Twin Rocks for Dinner...

I am glad Nash and I were able to be home for my parents 40th Anniversary...it was great to celebrate!

Mexican Hat...and catching lizards...

The river is always a favorite of the kids. Ash was the supervisor.

The kids were on a mission to find lizards.

Ash is the #1 mom in my opinion...I was happy to be behind the camera rather then pretend I was brave enough to catch those squirmy lizards! (I know I am a wimp.)

The kids wouldn't get in the car until they had at least 2 lizards. So Kedrick and Grand-dad stocked us in the car.

Mission accomplished! Even with a lizard running up Koen's pant leg.

Granny and Ashley made a home for the lizards.

Not sure if the lizards are still alive....if so I am sure they are crazy and a bit dizzy. :)

Goosenecks...

Our next stop on celebrating 40 years of marriage was the Goosenecks.

Granny didn't want to make the trek down the hill so she stayed back to watch us.

Nash had a lot of helpers helping him hike down to the ledge.

Ashley was the most protective. Thanks Ash. :)
