Share Bear...

Share Bear was Nash's preschool class pet.  He got to spend a weekend with someone new each week. Nash was the last child to get to spend time with Share Bear...I have a feeling this is going to be his life since his last name starts with a "W".

 We started the weekend off with lunch together.

Saturday we took a trip to Philly to visit a college roommate of mine. Share Bear got to come along.

 We did a lot of walking and grown up stuff while in Philly so on the way back to the car we stopped by a playground for Nash to play.

 It was a pretty hot day.  Asa wasn't crawling yet but was pretty content just hanging out in the stroller.

 Nash had a great time.  I started watching the children around the park and really felt sorry for them.  The park was so small, with hardly any grass. I am just not a fan of city living!

 Where ever we went with Share Bear, Nash was good to "buckle" him up! Safety First!

 As we were getting ready for church I made the kids pose for some pictures.  They were not very cooperative...

 Poor Share Bear was attacked by the slobber monster!

 Later that night we got together with some friends over at the Brinton's for some Cafe Rio yumminess.

When the weekend was over we had to write our adventures down in the class journal.  I don't know if I have said it enough I REALLY LOVED NASH'S TEACHER! Mrs. Cowell was amazing.

General Conference...

I am so happy we can watch General Conference on the internet.  Although, I don't know how much "watching" we actually do with these little rugrats!

Asa was pretty easy to entertain.

Nash on the other had we had to make a game so he would listen a bit.  So with each talk I wrote down  5 church words that he needed to listen for.

 If he heard one of the words he got to roll a jellybean down the shoot into the prize jar.

 It worked pretty well for about 3 talks and then he was done.  But I am happy w

Blue Bells...

 Blue Bell season is a ridiculous time of year for me.  I think I come to this grove of flowers everyday that they are in bloom...in fact the whole Lehigh Valley comes to this grove.  It is funny how the photographers go on blue bell watch.  When one is spotted a "secret" email is sent out to all the photographers you know and we are to keep there bloom a secret. It is all in hopes that less people will visit them.  They get pretty trampled.

 I had an idea for a birthday invitation so Stacia let us borrow her airplane.

 4 years old...

 Nash is SUPER hard to get pictures of.  I have realized that my photoshoots with him are no longer fun.  I spend most of the time yelling "LOOK AT THE CAMERA!"  I need to make this fun again the poor little boy had bad anxiety in these pictures...you can tell by his hands. :(

11 months old...

I am pretty much in love with these two little boys!

Kutztown Primary Easter Activity...

The Saturday before Easter the primary had a fun activity at the church.

Nash was a little shy at first but warmed up quickly and had a blast!

  They got to make cute little necklaces, bracelets, and other fun stuff.

 Then they had a fun easter egg hunt.

 Nash was sweet enough to share with his little brother.

 Stacia was sweet enough to share with Carson. ;) 

Selling our House...

We listed our house on a Friday at the end of March. That next Sunday we had a showing and Monday we had an offer.  The person wanted to close in April but we asked for the end of May.  It was a HUGE blessing to have an offer so quick.  Although the process was NOT fun at all!

 I wasn't surprised that our house sold so fast because seriously check out how good I cleaned this sink! HAHA!

10 months old...

I seriously doubt there is anything cuter then this little man!

Behavior Interventions...

We were having a few issues with Nash gaining his independence.  Plus dealing with having a new baby brother and me not giving him my undivided attention was not going well.  So Darin and I decided we needed to do an intervention to try to redirect he negative behavior.

So I came up with a schedule.  I noticed he was bored often and would get mouthy when he was searching for something to do.  Of course we didn't stick with the schedule all day.  It was mostly when I saw the behaviors come out I would say "what does are schedule say we should do?"  Nash liked being in charge of the schedule and put it together after dinner each night for the next day.

 Nash's pre-school used a stop light as their behavior intervention.  I tried it at home since Nash understood the concept.  I got all of his favorite things such as Netflix, iPad, LeapPad2, Dinosaurs, Beyblades, etc. and put them on the GO!  When he started to act out one of the favorites would be moved to SLOW DOWN for a

Bow Ties...

Stacia found these SUPER cute bow ties in the dollar section at Target to use for some pictures.  I borrowed them for some pictures and my boys wore them to church on Easter.  Nash loved the bow tie so much he wore it all day. 

 Asa on the other hand was happy to be a cozy little lumber-jack.

REAL LIFE ANGRY BIRDS!

Nash was introduced to the game Angry Birds on the iPAD by a friend (ehem...Nick Dowling).  He was pretty obsessed with it.  SO I decided to make our own angry bird game to get him off the iPad.  We had a ton of fun launching balls at the towers we built!
