New York City...
Love it when friends and family come to visit because we usually take a trip to NYC! The city is so crazy but there is something about it that I find AWESOME and FUN. I am just glad we do not live there. :) For Cody's trip to NYC we enjoyed the pretty skylines and observed at the statue of liberty from a distance...

Friend Emory Turns 3!
Nash's best buddy Emory had a birthday in February and he turned 3!
We went to his party early and helped set up and decorate.
Christine and Aaron live on the Muhlenburg College Campus where Aaron works. We were lucky enough to have the old Muhlenburg Mule come visit the party! We played pin the tail on the mule...the kids were not to sure about this weird donkey looking thing walking around.
But he brought treats and that made EVERYTHING okay!
Nash having a try at the pinata.
This is our other friend Christine (I have a lot of them;) and her son Will. Will is only a couple of days younger then Nash. They play so good together!
yum...yum...yum!
Brian and Darin should not be allowed at parties together, they are such bad influences. At this party they were caught pelting the kids with balls. Poor Addison is hiding behind the bean bag toss (that I made) trying to dodge the balls...

Nash was loving all the excitement and yummy food!
He learned where his nose is...FINALLY!
Cute friend Evan.
Thanks Emory for inviting us to your party! Happy Birthday!
Our Big Boy!
Since Nash had a boycott on the pack-n-play in Florida, he spent a whole week not sleeping in any sort of a crib. When we got home he didn't want anything to do with his crib. It was like he grew into a BIG BOY during our trip to Florida. I think buying a toddler bed is a bit of a waste and we do not have a twin mattress for the frame we have so we decided to take his crib mattress and put it on the floor for now. He really doesn't have any toys in his room just a few stuffed animals and some books. I worried he would get up in the night and play or read his books all night. He has done so well. When he wakes up in the morning he reads for a bit and then comes and knocks on the door to let me know he is awake. We do have to lay by him until he falls asleep, but I have left him before he was completely asleep and he hasn't gotten up. It seems when Nash is ready to do something he takes charge and lets us know he is ready for the next step. Let's just hope he does this good with potty training!!! :)

Naples Beach...
Our final day of vacation was spent in the WARM Florida sun on one of Naples beautiful beaches....I could have stayed there FOREVER!
Nash REALLY loved the beach!

Halle and Nash "hung" out with Darin most of the time.

Until there were snacks and Grandma was the favorite. :)
Who wouldn't love a walk on the beach with their grandpa!
Nash's face just makes me smile. He was so happy being at the beach with his grandparents and cousins!
Such good helpers! :)
I really wanted to go for another run on the beach, although soaking up the sun, and having some GREAT conversation with family seemed to be more fun once we were there. I only wished I had worn my swimsuit!

Our first "real" family vacation to Florida was so much fun! I hope we have another opportunity to do it again sometime. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Willardson for joining us and to Trevor, Rachel and family for letting us stay in your home! We love you all!
Happy Birthday!
After our week in Sarasota, we made our way back to Naples to spend the weekend with Trevor's family again. We celebrated Darin's 31st birthday while we were in Florida. It was a fun celebration because he shares a birthday with his dad and is only a week after his mom's. So having them all together was a real treat!
