Asa's first year...

I really tried to do a photo-shoot with Asa every month for his first year.  Thankfully I usually had a photoshoot for someone else and I would just add him in.  I tried to take one of Nash at the same time but he is in the stage where he DOES NOT like me taking pictures of him. So I guess it is Asa's day in the sun.  Which I don't mind because he is usually quick to give me a smile.  I need to take advantage of it while it lasts! (Sorry if you already saw this post on my photography blog. I wanted it on both. :)

ONE month old...JUNE 2012 (right out of the NICU, weighing just over 4lbs. Granny Cosby helped me do this shoot. The blanket he is wrapped in I bought in Uruguay on my mission.  Both boys were blessed in it.)

TWO months old...JULY 2012 (My running partner and great friend Kristi showed me a picture on Pinterest with the scripture 1 Samuel 1:27 "For this child I prayed." Seemed fitting for Asa.)

THREE months old...August 2012 (I used this photoshoot for his blessing and baby announcements.  He had just learned how to smile!)

FOUR months old...SEPTEMBER 2012 (My favorite picture of Nash (in clothes) is in this little suit.  So I had to take one of Asa too.  This is one of my favorites of Asa now! I love how he positioned his chubby little hands.)

FIVE months old...OCTOBER 2012 (This was the day of his blessing, in Parker, CO at Uncle Troy and Tonya's house. He was the same age as Nash when he was blessed but Asa was too chubby to fit into Nash's blessing outfit.)

Stacia and Malesa helped me take this picture.  Asa wasn't able to sit up yet so Stacia was propping him up.  I Photoshopped her arm out of the picture.  Malesa was helping with the smiles.

SIX months old...NOVEMBER 2012 (Asa wasn't too happy in this shoot so it didn't last long.  That hat was so funny on him.  I had some great friends in PA that let me borrow props all the time for pictures.)

SEVEN months old... DECEMBER 2012 (there were so many from this session that I LOVED! To bad I was so busy working on everyone elses pictures to ever finish them. Maybe someday I will.)

(I LOVE this chubby little santa picture.  My friend Brook let me borrow her chair.  I am not sure why the coloring is so weird.)

EIGHT months old...JANUARY 2013 (Asa was so happy for this shoot.  Nash was helping me make him laugh.)

NINE months old... FEBRUARY 2013 (I used this picture for Valentines cards.  We made chocolate lips to put on his mouth.)

I really wanted pictures of Asa with his nursery decor that my mom and I made. This outfit was given to him by a ward member.  he always looks so cute in it.

TEN months old... MARCH 2013 (Oh goodness, I am sure he will hate this whole session when he is over.  I couldn't resist dolling him up for Easter.)

THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE PICTURE OF ASA...you just can't NOT smile when you look at it.

ELEVEN months old...APRIL 2013 (Oh the Pennsylvania Blue Bells...In a way I think I will miss them...but maybe not for another year or so.  I am so glad I at least snapped some pictures of my children in them.)

ONE YEAR OLD!!!! MAY 2013 (We took these at my brother's house by his barn.  It was pretty hot but he had a lot of people to make him smile since I was taking my brother's pictures at the same time.)

We sure love this chubby little man.  He is so fun.  Asa loves food and will eat just about anything and large amounts of it.  I have no doubt he is going to beat Nash in a wrestling match very soon.  He still does his monkey/egor crawl, and is very fast at it!  He has 4 teeth and give big cheesy smiles.  His favorite thing is his Green blanket that Betsy Lees gave us.  He does not mess around with nap and bed time.  I can get one line of "Baby Mine" in and he is ready for me to lay him down. (oh so different then Nash.)
